I was born and bred in Sumter. After graduation from Edmunds High School in 1965, I attended Newberry College graduation with a BA in Economics.
I joined the South Carolina Air national Guard in 1969. After basic training, I went to work for GTE in 1970 and retired from GTE/Verizon in 2003. Before becoming a full time Real Estate Agent in 2010, I taught middle school English and coached basketball and track and field.
My first transactions in Real Estate were in the 1970’s when I bought investment property in North and South Carolina. These transactions spurred my interest in Real Estate and has lead me to the place where I now look forward to helping clients successfully find solutions to their Real Estate needs.
I have been married for 50 years and have 3 children and 10 grand children. I am a member of Bethel Baptist Church, former member of Sumter Optimist Club, American Cancer Society Board Member, SC Football Officials Association Board Member and SC National Association of Realtors.
